Hoverflip: Flying Car Rush — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Summary

Hoverflip has no account, no sign-up and no server of its own. Your progress stays on your device. The game collects nothing about you itself. The only outside service that receives data is Google AdMob, which supplies the game’s ads. On iOS, Apple’s Game Center also receives your scores and achievements if you are signed in. Both are described in full below.

Advertising

Hoverflip is free and supported by ads. There are no banners and no ad ever interrupts a run.

Rewarded videos play only when you tap a button to watch one. A rewarded video is offered in five places:

  • after a crash, to continue the run (once per run)
  • after a run, to double the coins from that run
  • in the Garage, to unlock a vehicle, paint or thruster colour
  • on the daily reward screen, to double the day’s reward
  • in the Garage upgrades, to cover the coins you are short of the next level (at most two videos per level)

Every reward can also be earned by playing, and declining a video costs you nothing.

Full-screen ads also appear now and then, at two moments only:

  • between runs, when you leave the results screen (never in your first two runs of a session, then at most after every third run)
  • when you come back to the game after it has been in the background for at least 30 seconds

No full-screen ad appears within two minutes of another ad, including a rewarded video you chose to watch, or during the tutorial. All ads in the game are limited to content suitable for a general audience.

The videos are supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver an ad, measure it, prevent fraud and avoid showing you the same ad again and again, Google may process:

  • a device identifier: the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking; the advertising ID on Android)
  • your IP address and an approximate location derived from it
  • how you interact with the ad
  • diagnostic information about the device and the ad request

Google is the only third party that receives data from the game. Google processes it under its own privacy policy and the Google Mobile Ads terms, and must protect it at least as well as this policy describes. Details: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Reporting an ad

If an ad looks inappropriate, tap the ad’s AdChoices (“i”) icon. From there you can see why you were shown it and report it to Google. You can also email us at the address at the end of this page. Tell us roughly when you saw the ad and what it showed.

Your choices

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent screen the first time you open it, before any ad is requested. There you decide whether your data may be used for personalised ads. If you decline, the game works exactly the same. Any ads you then watch are limited or non-personalised.

In US states with privacy laws (for example California), you can tell Google not to sell or share your personal information for advertising.

You can change either decision at any time from Settings ▸ Privacy Options inside the game.

On iOS, the game explains why it asks before Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt appears. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is never read and no cross-app tracking takes place. Nothing in the game is withheld and no reward depends on your answer. You can change it at any time in iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your device settings under Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Ads (on some devices Settings ▸ Google ▸ Ads).

On any device, you can review and change how Google personalises ads for you at My Ad Center.

Game Center (iOS)

If you are signed in to Apple’s Game Center, your best score and your longest run are posted to the game’s Game Center leaderboards, your progress on the game’s achievements is reported to Game Center, and you can open the leaderboards from the game. This is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. The game does not read, store or share your Game Center player ID or friends list. To stop it, sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings ▸ Game Center. The game plays the same either way.

Sharing

When you tap Share after a run, the system share sheet opens with a short text and a picture of your best moment, marked with the Hoverflip name. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app and send it yourself. The game does not access your photos or your contacts.

What the game stores

Everything below is written only to your device, in the game’s own save file. None of it is ever uploaded to us, and none of it identifies you:

  • your best score and your best runs
  • your coin balance and your upgrade levels
  • the vehicles, paints and thruster colours you have unlocked, and how many videos you have watched towards an unlock
  • the vehicle, paint and thruster colour you have selected
  • today’s missions, your achievements, your pilot level and your daily reward streak
  • whether you have finished the tutorial
  • your settings: sound and music volume, vibration, camera shake, graphics quality and language

Google’s consent tool also keeps your ad consent choice on the device.

Keeping and deleting your data

We have no copy of anything above, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete on our side. The save file stays on your device until you delete the game, and deleting the game erases it completely. Data that Google processes for advertising is kept and deleted under Google’s policy. You can manage it with the choices above and at My Ad Center. To withdraw your ad consent, use Settings ▸ Privacy Options in the game. If you have a question or a request about your data, write to us and we will answer.

What the game does not collect

The game does not ask for and cannot access:

  • your name, email address or any account details
  • the camera, microphone or photo library
  • your contacts, calendar, health or motion data
  • precise GPS location
  • a list of other apps on your device

There are no in-app purchases, no analytics service, no chat and no user-generated content.

Network

A run plays entirely offline. A connection is used only to load ads and, on iOS, for Game Center. With no connection the game simply carries on. The video buttons stay unavailable until an ad can be loaded, and no full-screen ad is shown.

Children

Hoverflip is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children and is not submitted to the App Store Kids Category. It does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new date at the top.
