Animal World AR — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Summary
Animal World AR collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no backend server. Everything the app does happens on your own device.
What the app stores
Three things, only on your device, through the operating system’s standard preferences storage:
- Your favourite animals
- Your viewing and AR history
- Your theme and language preference
You can erase all of it at any time from Settings ▸ Data ▸ Clear favourites and Clear history, or by deleting the app. None of it is ever uploaded anywhere.
Camera
The camera is used only while an AR experience is open, to draw the live view behind the 3D animal. Camera frames are processed on the device by Apple’s ARKit and Google’s ARCore. This app never records, stores or transmits them.
Photos
If you save an AR screenshot, the app asks permission to add that single image to your photo library. The app never reads your existing photos.
Sharing
If you tap share, the system share sheet opens and you choose where the content goes. The app has no visibility into what you choose.
Network
Animal World AR works fully offline after download. Every 3D model ships inside the app;
nothing is downloaded at runtime. The app runs a small HTTP server on the local loopback
address (127.0.0.1) purely to render 3D model previews inside the app. That server is not
reachable from outside your device.
Children
Animal World AR is rated 4+ and is designed to be safe for children. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no user-generated content, no chat, no external links and no data collection of any kind.
Third-party content
The 3D models, fonts and textures in the app are used under open source and public-domain licences. Every author and licence is listed on the open source credits page.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new date at the top.
